Greg Burke

Personal: Greg is the elder brother of (Dennis Burke, who also plays for the Bees. He was born in Newton, Massachusets on the 12th March, 1969. He is 6'1" and weighs 200lbs.

Style: Greg is a big defender, and fully capable of clearing the crease. He can also go forward to some effect, and doesn't score the number of goals his ability would suggest. He is not a very fast player, but he is solid, has good positional sense, and so is very rarely beaten. He is also a more than competant passer of the puck.

Last Season: Last season, Greg scored a miserly 5 goals last season. However, despite this, he should still be a useful addition to the Bees offence this year. Once again this season, though, his main job will first and formost be protecting the keeper.

Career: Greg started his career with Ohio State University, where he spent one year. He then moved on to play for one season with the Birmingham Bulls and three seasons with the Nashville Knights. He split 95/96 between Johnstown and Dayton, then moved to Germany's DEL, where he played for both Ratinger and Kaufbeurer. He joined Bracknell last season. Career Stats
