Brought in a few months into the season, Deano should be familiar to British fans, having played around the British leagues including for Whitley last year. He made himself a fan favourite when he scored on his debut, and has continued with his scoring exploits, becoming a consistent twine-bulger. He is one of the few Bees who like to sit in the slot and make a nuisence of himself.
