Ok, here's the information about the website.

A guy who lives in Nebraska, another guy who lives in North Carolina, and myself (in Texas) were all talking about how we disliked Notre Dame, and we sort of "joking" threw together the website. We did it to see how many others there were like us out there. Our dislike of Notre Dame comes mostly from the media's portrayal of the team. We tire of seeing Notre Dame play every week on NBC; we'd rather see regional games that have local interest. Everyone knows that Notre Dame is a media darling and sometimes gets respect that it has not earned. We also do not like the "holier than thou" attitude that some fans display. I was once told that I was going to hell, because I didn't like "God's team." What most Notre Dame fans don't realize is that we DO respect Notre Dame; we respect the hell out of them. However, we do not like them. Another thing visitors to the site do not realize is that we DO realize Notre Dame is a good school academically and we respect that as well. Most of the email we receive is "hate mail," which I understand. People should take sites such as ours with a grain of salt, that's what I do when I run across a site such as ours that is against my school. The page was made in jest.

Anyway, our site, during football season, generates anywhere from 300-400 hits a month. In the offseason the hits drop drastically. We've got about 70 members (the page says 55, but I haven't found time to update it recently). We aren't an active group, most people send in their information and probably don't return to the site very often. We've got a message board and I attempt to encourage everyone to talk about all college sports, not just anti-Notre Dame football.

I don't believe any of us really HATE Notre Dame, we just dislike Notre Dame football for the reasons stated above. If you need any more info, feel free to email me.
