PERFORMANCE Shrewsbury were robbed. Oxford played badly in the first half, terribly in the second, and got lucky.

TEAMTALK

Murphy the saviour
Two goals by Matt Murphy was just enough to see Oxford through to the 3rd round of the FA Cup as they overcame Shrewsbury 2-1 in extra-time.
The vistors took the lead on 27 minutes when Jakielka's header from a tight angle looped over Paul Lundin and nestled in the back of the net.
But Murphy struck in the last minute of normal time and again in extra time to see Oxford through were they will meet Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Friday 10th December.
It seemed as though Oxford would be going into the lucky loser draw on Wednesday but Murphy latched on to a Beauchamp cross at the death to volley home the crucial equaliser.
Murphy capped a great night by lashing home the winner with just three minutes of extra time remaining.
