TEAMTALK

Replay forced
Oxford United show their resilience this afternoon to force a replay in the second round of the FA Cup. Today's trip to Gay Meadow was fraught with dangers and the travelling faithful must have feared the worst when their side went behind after only eight minutes. Steve Kerrigan put the Division Three side in front to the delight of the home team.
Eight minutes after the interval it got worse when the same player doubled the Shrews lead. But Mickey Lewis's side showed their character and in the final half hour fought back to earn a share of the spoils. Matt Murphy began the fight back on 63 minutes and then Robert Folland sent the away fans into raptures with the all-important equaliser 13 minutes from time.
