What is the WLAF for?

Of course any sane rational NFL fan is actually a fan of the Sport and just happens to watch the NFL right? They love the game. Well you'd think that wouldn't you. But there is a hard core of 'Fans' of the NFL who think only the NFL will do - nothing else. Well right here and now lets call these people what they are.... SNOBS. Even worse they are lazy snobs.

It's very easy to watch Football on the TV. It's trendy even (well it was), and what do you have to do prove you are a fan? Well you can't go to games they are miles away... You don't have to join a supporters club because they are difficult to find. No all you have to do is buy the odd issue of First Down and some merchandise with the logo of your nominated team. It's even better you can support which ever team you like as you have NO ties to them geographically.

Isn't it Great? A easy to follow sport which takes little time out your life you never need to leave the house and you get to look trendy with a T-shirt.

Well thats not what Football is about. You ask ANYONE in Green Bay or Cleveland or Pittsburgh..... Football is about supporting your team, but it's also about a love of the GAME. And the WLAF forces you to ask... are you a SNOB or a FAN?

The WLAF brings the game to your doorstep. Now there is no excuse for not going to a game. Oh sure there's that distance problem... between the 2 UK Franchises there are about 12 MILLION within 1hr traveling distance. And the games are all on a Sunday afternoon, even easier to get to.

They've even made it easy with the WLAF not competing with the NFL so there's no clash of support. Heck there's NFL players in the WLAF, as well as National Players to cheer along.

So there is no excuse, logically you must support the WLAF... unless you are a SNOB. No-one is saying that it's the NFL, but frankly since you've little chance to ever see the NFL live.....
