Simply Depressed
Blame Steve, Blame Alan, Blame the weather, Blame anyone, just don't blame Doug - he just can't resist it.

When depression hit after week 8 Doug HAD to write this.... so here its.

To the tune of "Simply The Best" as sung by Tina Turner.

We call a Draw, And we get stuffed at the line
Drop back to pass, Then take a sack

We throw the ball away, Give up any hope we had

We start with such promise and play quite well
Then make stupid calls and we're down once again

Oh you make the call, such a boneheaded call Claymores

Chorus :
We're simply depressed
Worse than all the rest
Couldn't beat anyone
Anyone we played against.
We suck in the zone
Had to always kick for goal
They tore us apart
We rollover and play dead.

We roar when on defence , Every single play
We cheer and we scream, And we also pray
Just for once can we manage to hold out
And win one more game

Chorus:
We're simply depressed
Worse than all the rest
Couldn't beat anyone
Anyone we played against.
We suck in the zone
Had to always kick for goal
They tore us apart
We rollover and play dead.

Each time we have it, we turn over the ball
With an interception or a fumble
We could call it with our eyes shut
Please Claymores, no more draws

Chorus:
We're simply depressed
Worse than all the rest
Couldn't beat anyone
Anyone we played against.
We suck in the zone
Had to always kick for goal
They tore us apart
We rollover and play dead.
