In General, a Candle Spell will look like this -

Gather Materials ie.....what colour candle, types of Oils and incense will I need? Will I need Inks? Will I need to write on the candle? DO I need to invoke the God's and Goddess' or just the Elements? What is the timing needed for this particular spell?

Cast a Circle (not absolutely necessary)
Concecrate candle
write on candle - if desired
dress candle
Write a Petition (if one is needed and will be used)
Add incense to thurable
Light Candle and meditate on intent
Burn Petition in thurable
