The Seven Chakras
In the Human Form, there are Seven Chakras. Each are located at specific places, and do specific things. The first of these seven is called the Base/Root Chakra. Then above that is the Navel Chakra, after that comes the Solar Plexus, The Heart chakra, the Throat, the Third Eye then finally, the Crown Chakra.
There are certain gems and stones that can activate these chakras, how ever, you muse first know what to do to activate them. I will recommend books to read for this type of thing, but opening the chakras is a thing which you have to experience. I haven't as yet tried to open up any of my chakras, but have read quite extensively on them. eg.For the Base/root chakra you would use Agate (what ever sort it may be.) It would usually be Fire or Crazy Lace agate. For the Heart Chakra you could use many types, but the most common is Rose Quartz, Tourmaline and Chrysoprase, although there are many others which you could use. And so on. There are many types of gems and stones that you can use for all 7 Chakras.
There are also different types of colours for the 7 chakras.
Base/Root - Red/Black
Navel - Orange
Solar Plexus - Yellow
Heart - Pink or Green
Throat - Blue
Third Eye - Indigo
Crown - Violet
These are the most prominent colours for these chakras. There are also improtant energy centers on the palms of you'r hands and soles of you'r feet. For these energy spots, for extra grounding, use Hematite for you'r hands, and black tourmaline for you'r feet.
The Base Chakra, at the bottom of the spine, rules the basic instincts and the adrenals. It is coloured Red. The second Chakra rules intimacy and reproduction. It is orange and it situated in the lower abdomen. The third Chakra, which is situated behind the navel, is rules willpower and lifeforce, therefore being yellow. The Fourth Chakra, which is the heart chakra, rules love and compassion, it can be either green or pink. The Heart Chakra is situated in the chest -usually thought to be where you'r heart is. You will find the fifth Chakra, in your throat. This is naturally called the 'Throat Chakra.' It is Blue and rules communication and creativity. The Sixth Chakra, the brow chakra, is situated in you'r forehead, and is coloured indigo, and rules intuition. And the last, but not least, the Crown Chakra (often referred to as the 'many petaled lotus' is violet, and rules enlightenment and mysticism.
