Below is a picture taken right after the proposal. I was shaking so much!

    "Deer in Headlights!"

As you can see the sun is setting behind us and I am like a deer in headlights!  I was so nervous up until the proposal, you could have asked me my name and I wouldn't have known it!  

The Place

This is a better picture of us with the light house behind us and the realization starting to set in that I was an engaged man!  Whoa!

Becky and I at the "York Harbor Inn"

After the proposal, I took Becky to the "York Harbor Inn" in York, ME, right down the street from the lighthouse, for dinner.  I had reserved the best seat in the house overlooking the ocean complimented with an arrangement of a dozen roses there for us.  It was quite romantic!

On Saturday, I surprised Becky by gathering our families together in Worcester, MA for a Engagement Celebration Dinner.  It was very fun and special to get the families together.  We were just missing Becky's brother Rusty, who was in the process of moving that day and couldn't be with us.  (Doesn't it look like Becky is with my brother in this picture?) 

The Flowers (and ring!)

We have set a date! We are getting married on July 20, 2001!  Thanks to all of our family and friends all over the world for your love and support!  I would especially like to thank our friends Amy and Jason from Durham, who helped me set this whole thing up!
