My heartiest congratulations to the Student Association of Kolej Aman Batu Pahat for launching her first website.

This signifies a new chapter in the history of the association as we move into the information technology age. We need to upgrade ourselves to move along with the trend of development of the world. The website functions as a means to enhance information transfer among students. Thus, in future, students will be able to get first hand information from the association by pressing a few buttons on the keyboard or mouse.

I am grateful to have a group of student committees who are willing to organize activities for the benefit of all the students. They have worked hard, giving much time to see the success of each activity. It is the hope of the college that our new students will exemplify the good spirit of the committee members.

Of course, nothing in the world is perfect. As a young organization, I believe the Student Association still has many aspects to learn and develop. It is my desire to see more students to volunteer their leadership and commitment to ensure the substantial growth of the association. The growth of the association indicates the growth of the members. In due time, we will reap what we sow.

I have a big heart to see that the activities of the association to touch people beyond our own college students. With the advance technology of the Internet communication, let us see a bigger vision in the purposes of our existence. We can extend the benefits of our labour to bless our local community of Batu Pahat, and eventually the whole state of Johor. This call for a paradigm shift in the mindset of all our students.

Last but not least, my best wishes to all the future undertakings of the Student Association. May your paradigm shift carry you to a greater distance of success as we enter into the next millenium.
