Hi All,
Just got back Saturday from a week in sunny Florida! Weather was great, overnight
lows in the mid 60's, highs in the upper 80's, clear skies most of the week.
Average day:
Wake up at 8, make a pot of coffee. Sip coffee while watching waves come in on
the ocean. Beach at 10. Swim 'til noon, then lunch. Swim or nap in the afternoon,
depending. Ice cream at 4, then swim in the pool until dinner. Daquiris, then bed.
*yawn* Sleepy, mellow days. The best.
OK, we actually did a bit more than that, we shopped, went to Universal studios/Disney,
Mote aquarium w/ a petting pool, and more. Sonny's Bar-B-Q was one of the highlights
of the trip:

John voted it the best ribs he's ever had, even better than the ones he's had in
Windsor.
And in response to everyone's question: No, we did not get back together.
In fact, I'm looking at apartments in Ann Arbor right now, for the Fall. I'm
definitely moving out of my house in August. Scott, that means you HAVE to come
visit some weekend. No, you don't have to bring Mom and Dad, you can come on your
own, we can go to bars and stuff ;-)
Back to the apartment hunt: my first choice so far is Ann Arbor woods. It's
inexpensive, in a wooded area, walking distance to Whole Foods grocery store,
and has a park nearby. If you go to apartmentguide.com and look for 1 bedrooms
under $700 in Ann Arbor you can see floorplans. An interesting alternative is
Jordana's friend Abby's apartment. She may be subletting it in the Fall. It's
a Studio, but the description sounds nice, and it's a house rather than apartment
complex, and it's in town, and has a parking space.
I've de-gunked the sewing machine, though I haven't really had the energy to do
any sewing yet - still kinda sapped from vacation.
I hope everyone is doing well, and had a good Memorial Day. Happy Summer!
