A quick update: 

Merger still has not gone through; it's reached some sticking points and pissed off a few people.  But hey, 
you have to expect this to reach a little opposition.  Initially the benefits package as presented sounded 
like crap.  Er, rather, compared to what we have currently.  On Friday we got an e-mail explaining that 
they're going to try to match what we have currently, so I guess things will work out afterall.  Oh, and 
they had said we were losing all our seniority, and now we get to keep it.  Yay! 

So, things are much better. 

Last Monday and Tuesday were pretty rough on me, between having that benefits meeting and a few other things 
happening in my life (mainly class stuff).  So, I whined to my Mommy for a half hour or so.  And you know 
that that gets you?  A nice bouquet of flowers sent to you at work! :-)  Aw, isn't my Mommy great?  Yes Mom, 
I took pictures, so you'll see what it looked like! 

I also got a very, very cool cell phone. Er, well, it looks cool because I got a cool face plate for it from 
the company -  Kyocera.

Well, I hope everyone is staying well.  Drink your orange juice, cover your ears, and pray for spring! ^_^ 

I'm almost over my cold; I just sound like a chainsmoking asthmatic when I cough or laugh (which turns into 
a cough anyways; you know the sound, N-da!)
