I got to see a lot of family, eat massive amounts of good food, and I even saw a few friends. Work is going well. I don't feel like doing any at the moment; thus the group e-mail, but don't feel like I love y'all any less b/c I'm doing this as a distraction ;) My private life is actually more interesting. I got a "Language 30: Japanese" set from the library Wednesday, and listened to it all the way up to TC and most of the way back. After the 5th hour it was too aggivating and I had to turn it off! I don't think I'm going to really learn much Japanese, but at least I'll have a better understanding of the Anime I watch. I'm trying to pick up some cultural things as I go. Speaking of watching Anime, John left his Cowboy Be-bop DVD at my house, and i got the DVD player out and rarin' to go last night. I also have 5 free DVD certificates left, so if anyone wants to come over and watch movies, let me know (OK, all 4 of you that are local). OK, I take that back - If you're willing to drive here, you're welcome to drop by and watch videos even if you're NOT local, nyah! I'm still crocheting like a madman - my grandmother asked me to make her an afghan for Christmas (Shh, it's a secret!) I'm actually trying to do it. I think I might get it done on time, if I CONTINUE crocheting like a madman. But it does get boring... I might not have mentioned this last time, buut my bedroom is geting more hospitable: I have a desk now, so the computer is properly set up, and the nightstand is serving its proper use. I even have a lamp for it! I also brought my lava lamp back from TC, so my room is feelin' groovy! I have a big rug that covers 80% of the floor, so my feet stay toasty in the morning when I hop out of bed. I bought Nag Champa inscense, the one & only, so my room smells good too. The fish are doing well, things with the roommates are doing well, all-in-all life is good. -Amy P.s. Anybody have any rental suggestions for those DVD certificates? I'm thinking of renting Gladiator, but that leaves me with 4 others open...
