Hey Kiddies! 

I was pretty darned tired when I e-mailed you all last, so I'm going to re-iterate a bit of what's going on 
in my life (I was so tired my vision was blurred and I don't remember anything!) 

So, I Got a call 2 weeks ago today from Todd Stanley at Centromine in Ann Arbor.  I had sent Centromine my 
resume about 2 weeks earlier via monsterboard.com (*PLUG*  Go there, it's great!!! *!PLUG*) for a ColdFusion 
Programmer position with a year's experience, at a salary of $35,000-$45,000/year.  I was truly surprised to 
get a reply, since I merely have a semester (almost) of experience via NMC. 

Thursday was my last day at EnviroLab, and I left from there to see Steve.  Went to see "Keeping the Faith" 
- good movie, everybody go watch it! - went to TGIFridays, and then back to Steve's.  On 4 hours of sleep, 
drove to Ann Arbor (A2) for my interview.  Todd met me at the door, and we had a VEEEEERY informal little 
interview.  I was way too nervous for something as simple as this!  So, I chatted with Stephanie and Todd 
about the company history/hopes, etc.  The company is 2 years old, took off in a big way in March of last 
year, and they have some BIG contracts and BIG expectations for the coming year.  Basically, I had tehy job, 
they liked me, things were and are great. 

I got a tour, met everybody, and then left to look at Sublets. 

I took the second one, b/c I'd had my heart set on it when I read the ad, and it's quite similar to the 
place I live in now, and it's close to UofM's central campus. 

I'm sort of dodgin Diane at work, because I'm afraid to tell her I'm leaving.  I ASSURED her that I'd be 
around until the end of August; which was the old plan, but NOW I'm hoping to make the 12th my last day.  
That leaves time for the wedding rehearsal in the evening, Micheele McCloskey's wedding on Saturday at 
1 p.m., the reception.  Sunday is hopefully hanging out with Steve 'cuz he's coming up for the wedding 
(my date! :)  and then packing in the afternoon.  Monday I move, 

TUESDAY I START!!! 

Yes, that's right, I got a call from Stephanie Ruskowski @ centromine today at 2:11 p.m.  I was at work 
at JCP, so I returned her call at 6, gratefully accepted the offer and worked out when exactly I'll be 
started, when training is, etc. 

It sounds great to me!  Quarterly bonuses, stocks (or stock options, I can't remember), IRA contribution 
matching, full insurance, it's a nice list of benefits. 

In short, everything's looking great for me.  Heh, I might even get that Mazda Miata I always wanted ;)
