• Also I have general interest in porphyrin chemistry and
• trying to elucidate the effects of intra- and inter-molecular non-valent S---O interactions on the structure and properties of thiazole and thiadiazole derivatives showing several important biological effects - carbonic anhydrase inhibition, antitumor activity and inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase inhibition (A. Albini, G. Bettinetti, G. Minoli. J. Am. Chem. Soc., 121 (13), 3104 -3113, 1999 and refs therein). Evaluation of an energy of this novel biologically important S---O interaction.
