It is deserving to note that the faculty members and staff of the College of Information Technology are competent professionals.

Other than teaching, the Information Technology Faculty members have enough exposure on extra-curricular activities. They are involved in the monthly department activities by advisorship in the different department organizations, and coordinatorship in the different activities of the College.

The faculty also engages in research studies as part of their professional growth. Some of the researches made are "A Profile Study on the Freshmen Students of the College of Information Technology," "and "Survey of the Perceptions of Information Technology Students on Computer-Aided Examination, Computer Laboratory Scheduling and Use, Teacher-Administration Related Matters, and Other School Programs/Projects."

They also pioneered the Systems Development Research Group which is envisioned to advance the technological awareness of the University in particular and the nation in general, and to develop the God-given talenty of the faculty members and staff of the College. The Group aims to come up with a low-cost computer softwares to be used for instruction, to be an alternative to expensive licensed business systems softwares, and to keep abreast with the worldwide technological atmosphere supporting the country's thrust towards the 21st century.

The faculty and staff are also members of the Philippine Computer Society (PCS) National Chapter, the largest organization of IT professionals in the country.
