The induction of officers was presided over by President Emil Javier. Mr. & Mrs. Ramon Pellicer hosted a party for President Javier during his visit to California. Fundraising affairs for the establishment of the U.P.A.A.S.C. professorial chair will be conducted over the term of the present set of officers.
The Christmas Party of the U.P.A.A.S.C., �Lantern Parade Nostalgia�, will be held on Sunday, December 21, 1997, 4:00 P.M. at the LJ Dance Studio in Walnut, California. UP Alumni Association in America (UPAAA) held their grand reunion and convention on November 9th & 10th, 1997, at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
