The regulator and the alternate air source, the low pressure inflator and
the submersible presure gauge (which is part of the instrument console).
When wearing a dry suit, there will be a fifth pipe, which is another
low pressure inflator connected to the dry suit.
Yes I know an octopus has eight tentacles and this has four pipes but so what. The regulator and alternate air source typically go on your right while the instrument panel is on your left. The low pressure hose attaches to your BCD on the front left. The alternate air source has a longer pipe so another diver can easily use the regulator incase of emergency.
