| On June 11, 2004, a hundred or more golfers will tee off at the Second Annual GANS Golf Tournament to aid in the support of the mission of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students (GANS). GANS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to aid in the development of the whole person, including an understanding of the professional role of a nurse, and his/her responsibility for the health care of all people. Professional development is experienced through helping each other as well as the communities in which we live. Our theme for this year is "Through Service We Lead" in which our focus is to raise money for scholarships and community service activities. This is an excellent opportunity for your company to support nursing, as well as, the communities in which you serve. We have already been marketing the event and expect over 100 players to participate this year! We have added some unique packages all of which include a more extensive advertisement opportunity for your contribution. Please see the sponsorship form enclosed for the different levels of sponsorship available. | All teams will consist of four players. Single players are welcome and foursomes will be formed from single players. Tournament will be played in a scramble format with each team member using four drives. USGA Handicaps will not be applied to this tournament. All local rules will apply to this tournament. Tournament registration will begin at 9:00 am. Tournament will tee off at 11:00 am with an awards ceremony to follow completion of all plays. Professional course staff will tabulate tournament scoring. All scores will be posted on a scoreboard in the covered pavillion and on the Official Course Scoreboard. Two mulligans can be purchased per player. |
