| a. It was moved and carried that GANS spend money to provide sodas at the GA caucus on Friday, 4/25/03. Moneys not to exceed $250. Submitted by: Julie Thacker. Seconded by: Traci Steinhauser. Action: Carried b. It was moved and carried that GANS buy flowers for Lisa Holbrook not to exceed the amount of $80.00. Submitted by: Traci Steinhauser. Seconded by: Julianna Hunt. Action: Carried. |
| a. The process of informing individual who owe GANS money is still in progress. b. Golf Tournament - there are 5 holes left available to sponsors, and the Closest to the Pin Contest are still available to sponsors. The next focus should be on players. |

| i. Bylaw Change Ideas - Treasurer bonded to remove financial responsibility, Requiring two signatures on checks, travel privileges, amendment to 2 absences (include notification within 60 days), include that if $160 not raised by the end of term, the travel reimbursement will be used to pay the debt. ii. GA resolution was heard today and voted down, but will be submitted again with the changes (*Note - The amended GA resolution was passed). iii. The website was updated with the new Golf Tournament informaiton, the front page of the website is currently "locken out". GANS is researching prices for a professional website and/or Webmaster. (*Note - cindy Green won the Website award at the Awards Banquet Thursday night.) iv. Danielle Reneman received excellent feedback from her District...go Danielle!! v. PLEASE SEND YOUR BOARD REPORTS BY THE WEDNESDAY PRIOR TO THE MEETING. This is the only way for us to develop an accurate meeting agenda and organize our time in the best way. |
| i. GANs is looking into having Governor Purdue or the Mayor of Augusta to declare GA Student Nurses Day during the week of Convention. ii. Packets for the convention exhibitors will be mailed as soon as the EKGs arrive and can be included in the packets. iii. Awards and Pre-registration must be postmarked by September 8th, 2003. |

| i. Cherie is waiting on a list of sustaining NSNA members from the new NSNA Board so that they too will receive issues of the EKG. ii. Members and constituents will receive the "Back to School" issue iii. There will be an extra issue of the EKG for the Golf Tournament. 250 copies will be needed. |
