| 1. Call to Order: The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students was called to order at 8:15am by Kelly Knox. 2. Roll Call: |

| 3. Quorum: Kelly Knox, President, declared a quorum present. 4. Motion were written as follows: |
| A. It was moved and carried that GANS increase its annual dues from $28 (irst year)/$38 (renewal year) to $30 (first year)/$40 (renewal year). Submitted by: Brandi Dingler. Seconded by: Erica Meyer. Action: Carried. B. It was moved and carried that the members of the GANS Board present at this convention in Philadelphia, PA April 3-7, 2002 be supplied with a "Student Nurse = Super Nurse = Super Hero" t-shirt free of charge. Submitted by: Brandi Dingler. Seconded by: Erica Meyer. Action: Carried. |

| 6. Report of Officers Each board member present gave an update of his/her activities and goals. 7. New Business |
| A. Kelly, Laura, and Marni will distribute GANS Convention information flyers to exhibitors at this NSNA Annual Convention. B. There will be an NCLEX Review at the GANS Convention with breakfast for a charge of $15 per student. C. GANS will hold a Caucus at the convention center at this NSNA Annual Convention in Philadelphia. The Board agreed to provide desert at this caucus for all GANS constituents. D. Kelly knox reminded all board members to submit board reports to her by Wednesday before scheduled board members. E. Kelly Knox and Laura Yoho will make a site visit to Augusta before the next board meeting. |
| 9. The next meeting will be June 15, 2002 at Emory University at 10:00am. There will be no meeting in May. 10. This regular meeting of the GANS Board was adjourned by Kelly Knox, President at 9:45 am. |
