| I. The meetings was called to order by 1st Vice President, Cindy Kirkpatrick at 0810. The meeting was held at the NSNA National Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. | |||||||||||||||||

| 1. Cindy Kirkpatrick explained the contract and booking agreement that was set up for state convention with the Clarion Resort on Jekyll Island. 2. Karl Lipinski reminded the board that the money from NSNA is still being sent to Amanda Brown, the past treasurer. NSNA needs to change the address so that Lisa Wilder will receive the money for the GANS account. 3. Cindy Kirkpatrick issued a challenge to each of the board members to push the state convention to their schools prior to summer break. Flyers will be mailed to each of the schools with information pertaining to the convention. 4. Cindy Kirkpatrick told the board that September 17, 2000 is the last day to make hotel reservations for the state convention and still be eligible for the group rate given by the hote. 5. Abbie Miller passed out a list of potential convention speakers and topics suggested. She has written a generic letter asking the suggested speakers to attend the convention and what topic they would be interested in covering. This letter will be mailed prior to the May board meeting. 6. Cindy Kirkpatrick suggested that the board consider increasing the cost for exhibitor's tables at the state convention. Last year the board charged $300 per exhibitor. |

| IV. New Business | |||||||||||||||||
| 1. Cindy Kirkpatrick announced that Georgia would hold two caucases during convention. The first will be at 1830 April 14, 2000 and the second will be at 2330 April 14, 2000. 2. The next board meeting will be held in Athens, Georgia on May 20, 2000. Location and time still to be determined. |
