This village, about 30 miles South of Lyon in the Northern Rhône valley, is where my parents live. Salaise Sur Sanne merges with two nearby villages, Roussillon and Péage de Roussillon.
Mes parents habitent dans ce village situé � environ 40 km au Sud de Lyon dans la partie nord de la vallée du Rhône. Salaise Sur Sanne forme une petite agglomération avec les communes avoisinantes de Roussillon et Péage de Roussillon.

La Sanne is the small river passing through the village ("sur" means "upon" in french). Although small, this river has already produced devastating floods in Salaise! Winter 2001 |
