Chris Uribe

Chris is two years younger than the rest of us so I didn't really get to know him until my senior year. At first he was just Manny's younger brother but he quickly grew on me. He adjusted well and acted as if he were a senior, sitting by us during the various assemblies we had to attend and so on.

It was second semester (either after winter vacation or after spring break--my memory is failing me!), I asked Chris to go to the prom with me. He was hesitant at first but said yes to my utter delight. After that night, our friendship really took off. I will always be in his debt because he made prom a lot of fun and I'm kind of embarrassed to be saying this, but he made me feel like Cinderella that night. Chris is cool, I can always go to him and talk about anything.
