"Hi Theresa, sorry it took me so long to come down.", I said as I climbed into her '98 Jetta.

"That's ok I've only been here for five minutes. Are you ok, you look like you've been crying? Did Brian do something to you?", Theresa asked me sounding like she'd kill him if he were there.

"No no no. I just got a package from him and I was opening it and there was a teddy bear and a sweatshirt and pants from Jackie and then he gave me this ring.", holding my hand in front of her face so she could see it.

"OMG! That is so pretty. Damn he has good taste. I wish Kevin would ask me out and give me something like that. With them being cousins and all, maybe they have the same taste in jewelry?"

"Well I don't want you to have big hopes, but a little birdie told me that Kevin's got his eye on someone. But I'm not going to tell who it is." (I know I'm cruel, but hey this is too much fun)

"Oh tell me!!!!! I can't take the suspense. Does he like me???", Theresa asked as she was driving down the road to Jone's house.

"He may have a small crush on you, but you didn't hear it from me or Naomi. Got it? We'd end up dead by him if he found out you knew."

"OMG! I hope he askes me out. That would just make my day. Oh I forgot to tell you, Naomi doesn't want you to drink more than one beer cause she want's you to drive home. When I left to get you, she was singing 'What's My Age Again?'. It was pretty amusing."

"I have to see that. Who all is over there?", I asked as we came to the road where Jone's house was located.

"Well right now it's just me, you, Naomi, Jone, Katie, Meredith, Leanne, Jen, and a few of the guys from our chior."

"So it's pretty much gonna be an interesting night? I'm not staying too late though, I have to go into work tomorrow and drop off the research that they had Naomi and I do. Then I have to pack my stuff cause I'm going home for the weekend.", I said as Theresa was parking the car at the curb.

"Hey that's cool. You two finally got all that research done? I thought that was going to take you and Naomi forever. But look at it this way, you get to graduate with all of us and then you and Naomi are going to be working for one of the most popular record labels of this past year. I'm jealous, and all I'm going to be doing is sitting here teaching Spanish and doing the work-out instructor thing on the weekends."

"Well it's not always glamorous.", I said as we walked into the house. While we were standing outside I could hear the faint sounds of "Let's Have A Party" coming from inside. I also could hear Naomi belting out Nick's parts of the song. Theresa and I came inside and found Naomi and some of the other people dancing in the living room, while Jone and one guy were making-out in a chair in the corner.

"Frick, are you awake?", Nick asked nudging his best friend in the arm.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking that's all. Why what's up?", Brian asked interested in what Nick had to ask.

"I was thinking about asking Naomi to move in with me after she graduates. I mean we've been together for over two years now and I think we are ready to take that step. They both are coming on the next tour with us, I heard Mike (fictional manager's name, so don't send me mail saying that's not right) saying that Jive was signing them on as our new Public Relations team.", Nick said oblivious to the fact that Brian already knew about what he just said.

"Frack, I think that's a good idea. I was thinking the same thing to ask Peanut, but I just don't know how she is going to feel. I don't want to pressure her into something she doesn't want to do. Her dad already gave me permission to ask her to live with me. I guess all that's left is to ask her if she wants to."

"Well I hope this damn flight goes faster so that we can see our girls. I'm feeling really homesick and all I want to do is go to bed in an actual bed, not a tour bus. Are we still going to get together this weekend at your house for the traditional BBQ?", just as Nick said that AJ popped his head over the seat to hear the answer.

"I know how you feel about the whole homesick thing. I am too. And about the BBQ, yeah I just have to go to the store, cause who knows what's in my fridge right now. Hey AJ, is Kevin boring you with his stories?", Bri asked as he was digging through his backpack.

"Rok, man, he just won't stop talking about Theresa.....why doesn't he just ask her out? I can't take it anymore. What are you digging for?", AJ asked as he messed up Nick's hair while he wasn't looking.

"AJ! Stop it! I don't want to be all messed up for Naomi. I want to look good."

"Well AJ, he wants to ask her out, but you know how he is. And what I'm digging for is my cell...I need to call UPS and see if they got Kristin her package.", Brian said as he dialed the number.

While Brian was on the phone Nick and AJ decided that they would just nap until they got home.
