Chelsea has found several ways to grace public awareness. In January, 1997, she ripped off her trenchcoat while walking in the Inaugural Parade because of the heat, and instantly brought the spotlight on her new womanly body. Later that night, she attended her father's Inaugural Ball wearing a beautiful, flowing gown, and danced with her father on stage in front of a large crowd. The prior month, she danced in the Washington School of Ballet's performance of the Nutcracker. Since then, the media has taken photos of her trips to various colleges, as well as her vacations to Martha's Vineyard.
