A flood of misery
Comes tumbling down
Veiling the pretty face
Filled with smiles.
Weight builds
Turning upside-down
All that was inside.
Walls crumble,
Bridges fall apart,
The sun explodes.
Yet blinders are on
Only one life seen.
Forget about others.
Their happiness
Is not crucial.
Continue on with
Pathetic whims -
Crying over spilled milk,
Crumbs falling to ants,
Passing a minute alone.
Bigger problems
Hardly fall on those
With blessed lives -
How could misery
Be present in a perfect world.
