Pele's Baby Pictures

Pele was named, by Guide Dogs, after a famous soccer player. Pele the soccer player was called this because it means "The Artist." Pele is also the Volcano Goddess of Hawaii (So I have been told). Though he has energy bursts comprable to suddenly erupting volcanoes, we do not think this little guy fits the role of a goddess!

To help in housebreaking Pele, he

is usually kept on a "tie-down" (a cable with two leash-like connectors at either end), in his kennel or under close supervision.

Even though he is usually hooked to something, he is one happy dog!

Pele likes playing with his "Big Dog," Georgie. He likes any toy that is in her mouth -and when she is toyless, her ears and tail work as good pull toys for the puppy! But, despite what Pele would like to believe, he often gets on Georgie's nerves!

Like all other babies, Pele gets tired lots -a puppy needs his Zzzz's to keep up with that "Big Dog!"
