My mom and dad are the best parents a girl could ever have! They are very supportive of me, and help me whenever I need it. They're a lot of fun, and I'm really lucky to have them! I don't know how to possibly thank them, but I can always try...thanks Mom and Dad! My aunt Mary, who is my mom's sister, and my uncle Frank are really great. I sometimes spend the night with them -- or spent, before I came to school -- at times when my parents were out of town, and I promise you, Mary is one of the best cooks I've ever met! I always have fun when I'm with them!
Mary's sons, my cousins Paul and David, are always fun for me to be around. They're a few years older than me, but whenever I'm with them it's always like we're kids again, and it brings back lots of memories. They're both married now, though, and both David and Paul have a daughter (each)...rather scary (for me, at least!), don't you think? ;)
On my dad's side of the family, first and foremost there is always Grandaddy John, my terriffic grandfather. He's been one of the strongest influences in my life...(and fortunately, it has been a good influence. :p) A word of advice to any who wish to meet my grandfather, though...don't wear any perfume or cologne, or you'll not make it past the door as he's highly allergic to it! ;p
And how could I possibly not mention my grandfather's younger brother, my Great Uncle Bill? A really great guy...as shown by his prestigious title! He reminds me a lot of my dad (though I suppose I should say Dad reminds me of him since Bill came first :p). I am going to visit you down there in Pensacola sometime soon, so be prepared!
Next there is my aunt Barbara, my dad's sister. A really fun lady to be around, I can assure you! But, if you get her started talking about horses, be prepared to listen for a while! ;) I will make it up there to go riding with you one of these days soon, I promise!
There's also my cousin Dana and her little daughter Chelsea, one of the cutest little girls you'll ever find! Click here to see a pic of Chelsea helping the adults cook dinner one night in Florida. Unfortunately, I don't get the opportunity to see them very often, but it's always good to see them when I do!
My cousin Chris and his wife Tabitha are two of the all-around best people I know. I always have a great time when I'm around them...and yes, I am slowly getting used to the fact that Chris really is married! :p So, when are you coming to visit me at school, huh? ;) (And Chris, someday I will be on a Trivial Pursuit team that beats you! :p) And, just in, you can click here to see a pic of the happy couple. :p
Then there's Julie, my youngest cousin...though she certainly doesn't seem like the youngest! ;) We've definitely been through a lot, and she's been a good friend over the years.
