3. Designated Centre for the Offensive team snaps to the Quarterback, who holds the ball, by calling "QUARTERBACK"
4. Quarterback replies, calling "GOT IT" If the Quarterback fails to reply, the ball is considered to have been fumbled, a down is added

5. PASSING THE BAT.T,
5.1 COMPLETE PASS: If the ball makes contact with a recieving players body or chair on the full. Play Continues
5.2 INCOMPLETE PASS: If the ball fails to reach the recieving

QUARTERBACK RULE: The Quarterback from the Offensive team is permitted to cross the line of scrimmage with the ball, however they are not permitted to pass the ball forward
6. KICKING
6.1
FIELD GOAL (Value 3 Points) : Occurs when the Offensive team kicks for goal from the base of the line of scrimmage, after the ball has been snapped. The Player kicking must tell the referee that they are doing so and announce "KICK"
If the ball does not go between the posts and is still in play, play continues until one team gains or regains possession.
6.2
CONVERSION (Value 1 Point) : Occurs when a player from the offensive team kicks for goal after making a TOUCHDOWN. As with field goals, the player kicking must announce "KICK"
6.3
PUNT: Occurs when a player from the offensive team kicks for territory during general play. The player kicking must announce "KICK". The ball must not go out of bounds on the full.
Following a PUNT, the player that comes in contact with the ball regains or gains possession.
In the case of a player from the offensive team regaining possession after a PUNT, the defensive team is given an automatic turnover of possession from the point of initial offensive contact. If the offensive player attempts to play on, they will be penalised.
In the case of a player from the defensive team gaining possession after a PUNT, that player is permitted to play on, from the point of contact.
7. TOUCHDOWN
(Value 6 Points) : Occurs when a player from the offensive team crosses the GOAL LINE in possession of the ball
8. TACKLE
Occurs when a player in possession of the ball (Offence) is TOUCHED by a defensive player with chair or body. A DOWN is
added to the offensive count.
, If players are overly aggressive when tackling, they will be penalised
9. BLOCKING
Occurs when players from either team prevent each other from a clear passage of play, defensive or offensive. Blocking is permissable providing that no contact is made by players. Players cannot be blocked out of bounds.
10. INTERCEPTION
Occurs when a player from the Offensive team passes the ball and a player from the Defensive gains possession
11. DOWNS
Tackle count up to 3 (Each tackle is considered to be a DOWN)
12. TURNOVER
Occurs when the offensive team fails to reach the next quarter line within 3 DOWNS. Possession is then given to the defensive team. (Also See 6.3)
13. PENALTIES

This occurs when a player from either team crosses the line of scrimmage before the ball has been snapped.

OFFENSIVE FOUL: Moves the line of scrimmage back to the previous 1/4 line or Goal.Line (Back towards the
Offensive teams Goal Lina) and repeats the down.
DEFENSIVE FOUL: Moves the line of scrimmage forward to the next 1/4 or Goal Line (Back towards the defensive teams Goal Line) and repeats the down.
