Description: A new member of the family, Max was rescued from
the Sydney Dogs Home in late May of 2003. Truly a troubled little pup,
his first 6 months of his life must have been a nightmare, as he was rather
aggressive on his first night - that included him stealing my rump steak,
which I was planning to cook for dinner, out of my hands as I tried to
put it into the oven. The last I saw of my dinner was in Max's mouth as
he darted out the doggy door into the darkness of the night. A minute later
he was back wanting more. Yeah, I bet he wanted more - just like I wanted
my rump steak too. Needless to say, he didn't get any more. I truly thought that I had a mad dog on my hands & it was rather ironic that his name was Max. Nonetheless he has settled down really well since then. Time will tell
whether he will become a great cattle dog akin to Anzac. In all likelihood
he will as he certainly is cheeky enough!
