Twilight
And as the sun sets,
A new light appears,
At first I think it to be the moon,
But I look harder to see,
A shining creature coming unto me!
And behold I now know,
What beauty nature doth behold,
Yet to me there is only one thing,
With the sun that sets a new light appears,
The one that Twilight brings forth.
And yet as I turn to leave,
The darkness starts to surround me,
I venture to look back at her shining there:
I am that which stands between the darkness and
her light,
Such is the radiance of Twilight.
Morning
Tis a morning ode that I give thee,
A morning that one day you'll see,
One of fine construction,
That nature truly givest free.
I long to witness,
Another of her blessings,
One to me would surely make,
This great morn look fake!
The sun is out,
The birds make joyful song,
And in my heart,
I have a new throng.
And as my heart sings,
My mind remembers,
The simple words,
That you say.
I now long for the new dawn,
Knowing that it's a day closer,
To greet your presence on that day,
to hold and be with you forever.
Night
Let us in our imagination play,
A magic time to behold,
When lover's whispers fill the air,
And fires flicker in the night.
Now entertain and conjecture of a time,
And alas a night that I yearn,
A place of beauty do I divine,
Just for once that face to seek.
Mine eye doth know I see thee,
Behold as words can define,
O pity I would henceforth disgrace,
Just a little touch of Twilight in the night.
Endure
What villainous tyranny,
What evil thus I endure,
That some people do hurt,
While others do endure.
Yet what are these creatures,
Who doth this injure?
They mean nothing to us,
Who continue onward.
And thus we continue,
Wounds and all we carry,
Knowing not why,
Least we be remembered.
And who will this know,
Of the struggle we undergo?
Yay we must entertain,
For I love you, thus I gain.
Emptiness
O with words that I cry,
Searching for a new invention,
One that would let us ascend,
The brightest heaven of invention!
And all for a kingdom,
All to be a prince of creation,
I announce nay to this I swear,
By your name I cry Nay!
For tis emptiness that I embrace,
One that I have for employment,
Yet with my imaginary forces at work,
Behold Twilight fills the empty scene!
Hope
Of all the doctrines that are in the air,
I just have cause that hope is in the field,
A power that must transform,
Any dream that brings forth a new norm.
Oh how much I must pity those without,
A dream to leave this mortal coil,
With hope as our armour doth make,
Transcend the evils that hence mistake.
Hence hope is a power that is truly beyond,
That which other's can't fake,
Into a hopeful dream thus I go,
One which we must never forsake!
I thus dream of a time,
A time when you are here,
One that is beyond that,
A powerful dream they can never take.
A Prayer
A soul that needs filling,
A heart that needs care,
I pray that you love me,
I pray that you care.
Another vision awaits me,
One that is different here,
A world in which you see me,
world that really cares.
I look unto the future,
One for you and me,
One where victory is certain,
A life that is very clear.
I stand on the edge of tomorrow,
Breathing in all that is there,
Slowly I look with hope forward,
Cheerfully dreaming that you are here.
Worth
What is the worth of a man,
When all that he has,
Is clearly seen?
What is the worth of a man,
If he can't see beyond that,
Which is clearly given?
What is the worth of a man,
If he has never loved,
Nor yet has been loved?
For a man is truly noble,
And can fully see,
When his heart is taken,
By a woman such as thee!
I just must joyfully admit,
That I am for you such a man,
For I have found my love,
In you Twilight,
That makes me your man.
The Future
Oh for a muse of the future,
A land still to find,
One that is not written,
And is free to comprehend!
The myths of the past do dwell,
In the dark recess of our minds,
While the future beckons us forward,
To a land that's not in time.
And yet in this unknown country,
A kingdom that has not begun,
I wish to be a loving king,
And have you Twilight as my queen.
We'd rule together kindly,
We'll be together in love,
And as all other things fade away,
We will always remain.
