8 C sliced squash
2 onions (sliced)
1 T salt
1/2 C pepper slices
1 C 5% vinegar
1-3/4 C sugar
1/2 t mustard seed 1/2 t celery seed
Let squash and onions sit one hour in salt. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil. Add squash mixture. Return to a boil. Put in jars, seal and process (if desired).
