3-1/2 cups flour
1 cup of Crisco
2 tsp. Salt
2 tbs. of Vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
4 tbs. of Milk
2-1/2cups brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 stick margarine
desired amount of chocolate chips
 

Mix dry ingredients; set aside. In mixing bowl, mix everything else but the eggs, add eggs then mix again. Add dry ingredients gradually until thoroughly mixed. Add chocolate chips. Bake on ungreazed cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 10 min. on the top shelf, then 10 min. on the bottom shelf.
