PUMPKIN PIE

1 C sugar
1/2 t salt
1-1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t ginger
1/2 t all spice
1/2 t cloves
1-1/2 C canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1-2/3 C (large can) evaporated milk
9" unbaked pie shell

Mix filling. Pour into pie shell. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 15 minutes. Lower temperature to moderate oven (300 degrees). Contintue baking 35 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.
