1 c plus 2 T flour
2 T shortening
3/4 c cornmeal
1 egg
1/2 sugar
1 c milk
1-1/2 t baking powder
1 pkg hot clogs
Sift flour, cornmeal, sugar and baking powder together. Cut in fine shortening. Add egg and milk. Stir until blended. Roll franks in flour then dip in batter and deep fry in skillet.
