PRETZEL SALAD

Step 1: 2 C crushed pretzels, 3/4 C melted butter. Mix together and line bottom of 13x9" cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool.

Step 2: 1 C sugar, 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, 1 medium size cool whip. Combine ingredients until smooth and creamy. Spread over cool Pretzels carefully.

Step 3: 1 lg. box strawerry jello, 2 C boiling water, 2-10 oz pkgs. frozen strawberries or 1 pkg. strawberries and 1-10 oz. can crushed pineapple (do not drain).

Mix jello and hot water. Put in frozen berries and pineapple. Chill until set up and spread over cheese and pretzel mixture.

Refrigerate.

For Diet Salad. Use no sugar in step 2 and use D-Zerta jello.
