Saute' gently 1 T chopped onion in 2 T butter
Add:
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp seasoning salt to taste
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Cup diced or mashed potatoes
Stir in 2 Cups hot milk
Simmer slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings. I sometimes thicken with potato flakes. Serve with cornbread and apple butter.
