PERFECT CORN BREAD

1 c flour
1/4 c sugar
4 t baking powder
3/4 t salt
1 c cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c milk
1/4 c shortening

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cornmeal. Add eggs, milk and shortening (I use oil). Mix until smooth. Pour into greased muffin tins or iron skillet. Bake at 425 degrees until done.
