Jalapeno Corn Muffins

1 ½ C Corn Bread mix OR 1 ½ C Plain Corn Meal + 1 t baking powder
½ t soda
1 t salt
1 C cream style corn
4 or more Jalepeno (or other hot peppers about the same size) peppers seeded and chopped
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
½ C vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 C buttermilk
½ C chopped onions

Mix all ingredients.  Spoon into well oiled (I use Pam spray) muffin tins.  Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until well browned.
