IRISH BREAD

3 C flour
4 t baking powder
1/8 t salt
1/4 C sugar
1/4 C melted shortening
2 beaten eggs
Add 1 cup milk to make soft batter.
1/2 C raisins
1 T caraway seed

Sift dry ingredients and add liquids. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
