1 c chopped pecans
3/4 c chopped dates
1/2 c chopped candied cherries
1/2 c chopped candied pineapple
2-1/2 c flaked coconut
I c Eagle Brand milk
Combine all ingredients;put in 8 or 9" square pan
lined with
waxed paper. Bake at 300 degrees for about an hour
or until
center is firm and browned. Cool slightly, then
invert on waxed
paper. Do riot lift pan until cake drops down. Leave
cake
remaining on paper until cold and firm; this takes
several
hours. Cut into bars.
This was always set out for Santa Claus to eat Christmas
Eve
