2 pkg yeast
6 CUPS flour
1 T Sugar
2 t salt
1/4 t soda
2 c milk
1/2 cup water
Combine dry ingredients. Heat liquids (120-130 degrees). Combine dry and liquid ingredients. Beat to mix. Divide and place in two loaf Pans (greased well. Spinkle, with corn meal if desired) Let rise 45 Minutes in warm place. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove immediately. This bread is crusty. I think if you would knead it in flour you could get a smoother, softer crust.
