CONFETTI BREAD

3 cups Bisquick or see Make Your Own Mix
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. Ground cardamon (I don’t always have this.)
1 egg
1 ¼ cup milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup assorted small gum drops (except licorice)

Combine first five ingredients.  Stir in walnuts and candy.  Spoon into well-greased wax paper lined loaf pan (9”x5”x3”) or two smaller ones.  Backe at 350 degrees for 50  to 60 minutes for the large pan.  A cake tester should be used to determine if done.  Cool before slicing.  Source: Nanny (Ethel Whittington)
