1 lb chicken liver
1 lb chicken breasts, deboned
skewers
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c sugar
dash MSG, if desired
1/2 t ginger (Fresh ginger is good, if available)
Place ingredients for Sauce in pan and bring to boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Slice chicken livers and breasts to bite size. Put pieces of chicken and liver on sticks, or skewers. Do not mix liver and breast an same stick. Marinate chicken and liver in sauce for about 20 minutes. Boil meat over charcoal and baste with sauce until meat is cooked. Serve hot with rice. (I even do livers this way in the oven broiler)
