1 lg pkg Jello (any flavor)
1 lg can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
2 C buttermilk
12 oz. container Cool Whip
1/2 C chopped nuts (optional.)
4 Cups miniature marshmallows
Place pineapple in saucepan and bring to a boil. Dissolve in hot pineapple. Remove from heat. Add buttermilk. Refrigerate until slightly thickened. Fold in marshmallows, Cool Whip and if desired nuts. Place in 9xl3" pan and refrigerate. This salad may be placed in freezer and be served frozen, or thawed.
