BAKER'S CLAY PLAYDOUGH
A. BAKER'S CLAY
4 c flour
1 c salt
1-1/2 c water
Mix and knead; if too stiff add water. Shape into figures. Bake 1 hour in 300 degree oven or until hard. When cold, paint and decorage. Dough will keep moist in a plastic bag.
B. CORNSTARCH CLAY
2 parts table salt
1 part cornstarch
1 part water
Mix and cook over low heat until stiff. Add a few drops of cooking oil to delay drying. Shape figures when cool. Let dry 2 days or 1 hr in oven.
C. SUGAR DOUGH (FOR VERY LITTLE CHILDREN WHO MIGHT EAT IT)
1 c water
2 c sugar
3 c flour
Mix as you do the salt dough (A). It is less durable, but safer if eaten.
