WHY DO I HAVE A LIST OF LIFE GOALS?
I was inspired one day when I was reading a story in the Chicken Soup for the Soul book. A man named JOHN GODDARD sat down at the kitchen table when he was fifteen years old and made a list of life goals. He has accomplished most of what he has on his list, and if you can see his list, it is amazing! (INTERVIEW with John Goddard )
So, on April 3, 1998 after swimming lengths early in the morning, I sat down and wrote this list. Just having the list is exciting for me because I know that I will complete all of the things on it (Lord willing) and all my life I will be working towards a goal.
I encourage you to sit down one day and set down your goals on paper, a list that you will remain faithful to and not change or modify as the years go by. As I update this, I have completed 26 of my 121 goals. I've recently cycled accross Canada with a bunch of friends from coast to coast and I am teaching for the third year. I plan on making a short film this winter and submitting it at the Montreal World Film Festival - this is in prep for some of the huge goals of being involved with larger productions. Here are 7 Easy Steps to Goal Setting and Powerful Written Goals.
Here are lists of other peoples goals that I don't know but found on the Internet.
