    THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF QUITMAN

    Quitman sat on the couch in his tiny apartment, watching the local
Fox channel and eating Cheetos out of a bag that lay on the floor. His
fingers were stained orange and crumbs covered his chest.
    Suddenly Ron Fehr, ace reporter for Fox news (and the secret
identity of the MediA Watchdog), interrupted Judge Judy to give a
special news bulletin. "It has just been discovered by our news team
that Vacuumboy, the unofficial leader of SEMO's superheroes, will be
standing trial for what is being called 'gross negligence of his
superhero duties.' A news team from FOX will be broadcasting the
proceedings of the hearing live all day tomorrow beginning at noon. Now
back to your regularly scheduled program."
    "Whoa!" shouted quitman. "VB's in trouble. I've gotta help him!" He
leapt up from the couch and headed for the door.
    The television blared a commercial for the upcoming program. "The
next episode of Judge Judy will be commercial free. FOX23 brings you
more entertainment!"
    "I'm sure Vacuumboy will find a way out of this problem somehow,"
said Quitman as he sat back down on the couch. "If Judge Judy has taught
me anything, it's to have faith in the American legal system!" He
reached back into the bag of Cheetos and shoved a handful into his mouth
as the program began.
